The daughter of Aeolus, King of the Winds and Master of Cosmic Currents,
Aeolia has always disliked the games her father forces travellers to play.
In Guardian of the Cosmic Winds it is her birthday. Aeolia's father
captures Ulysses and forces him to play for his life in a game organised
in her honour. Aeolia is repulsed by the whole thing and frees Telemachus
and Yumi, whom Aeolus has imprisoned, and together they set out to stop the
game.
Aeolia saves Ulysses's life by wrenching from Aeolus the control box he
uses to activate the games' components just as Ulysses is about to die.
In doing so she angers Aeolus who, in a fit of rage, is about to sacrifice
her and Ulysses. Telemachus saves them using a powerful crystal which
also contains the route back to Earth. In the ensuing struggle Aeolia is
almost killed and when Aeolus realises how close he came to losing his
daughter he changes his ways for good.
