Heratos set out to discover if there was any truth to the legends of the
worlds beyond Olympus. During his voyage Heratos stumbled upon a spaceship
which, when he boarded it, he found to contain only one occupant, a small
Zotrian girl called Atina. He examined the ship's log, stored in a black
sphere, and found that it contained a complete map of Olympus. At this moment
the gods of Olympus flooded the room with a bright light, blinding him. In the
episode The Black Sphere Zeus offers to restore Heratos's sight if he gives
Ulysses a map encoded with the route to the graveyard of wrecks and hulks
instead of the galactic glaciers as Ulysses believes. If Heratos refuses, he and
Atina would be destroyed. Reluctantly Heratos agrees. Just after Ulysses sets
off Heratos and Atina launch their craft in pursuit to save the Odyssey from
certain doom in the graveyard of wrecks and hulks.
