Hipsipile Uyipulh Hypsie


Hipsipile is the daughter of King Thoas. When the Shark Men invaded Lemnos the men of Lemnos forced the women to work in the Trident factory while they did nothing. The work was hard and dangerous and the fumes from the acid baths caused many of the women to fall ill. Having had enough of this the women rebelled. The men threw the women into prison, however Hipsipile escaped.

In Rebellion on Lemnos, Hipsipile is making her way to Istria to ask for help when she encounters Ulysses. Together they travel to Istria only to discover that the Shark Men have destroyed it. They return to Lemnos to find that the Shark Men are about to arrive to collect the latest batch of Tridents. The Tridents are not ready as the women are in prison after having refused to work in the factory. Ulysses frees the women and Hipsipile convinces the men and women to put aside their differences and work together to defeat the Shark Men, their true enemy.
