No-No is Telemachus's robot. He makes his debut by bursting forth from
Telemachus's birthday cake in the pilot episode, Vengeance of the
Gods. From that point on the two make an inseparable pair. For
the most part No-No is the comedy sidekick, but in The City of Cortex
he gets to shine as he plays a more prominent role. His human qualities, while
present in every episode, are explored more deeply in this story where he has
to choose between his friends and his new-found love, Nanette. No-No's loss
in The City of Cortex is paralleled by Ulysses's own loss after a whirlwind
romance in Calypso.
