THESEUS: About to confront the Minotaur in the Labyrinth.

Theseus is the son of Ageus. He is also Ariadne's fiancee. Because Ageus refuses to submit to King Minos, Theseus takes a great risk every time he sees Ariadne, Minos's daughter.

During one such visit, Minos captures Theseus and has him thrown into the Labyrinth. On hearing this, Ariadne flies off to join him and on the way she encounters Ulysses. Ulysses, too, has his reasons for finding Theseus: the great Oracle itself has said that there where Theseus is lies the route back to Earth.

Ulysses and Ariadne find Theseus. Just as Theseus and Ariadne are re-united, the Minotaur appears. It is Theseus who, in the ensuing battle, strikes the blow that kills the Minotaur and frees them all. Together, Theseus and Ariadne leave the Labyrinth to start a new life in the Kingdom of Ageus, out of reach of Minos, who is left regretting his actions.
